We continue our series introducing the people behind Digirail. This time, we are introducing Onsite Test Coordinator Marion Magnus.

What is your role in Digirail?

I am working as the Onsite Test Coordinator for KoKoHa. I am responsible for coordinating the testing teams. Because Testing requires a lot of preparation, and a lot of stakeholders are involved, we need to make sure everyone is on the same page. My job is to bring all the experts together to make sure that our test days will happen as smoothly as possible. They bring up the expertise, I set the frame.

How long have you been working on the project?

I started in early 2022 helping with some management tasks in KoKoHa, I have helped drafting working group schedule, run some coordination meeting and worked with documentation management. After that, I kept working on Kokoha with the Onsite Testing team.

What do you find most interesting about the project?

We are working on developing something new and it’s a unique project, so this is quite exciting! Digirail as a project, it’s big, it’s ambitious and it’s challenging so this makes it an interesting project to be part of. Besides this, in Onsite Test work group we work together regardless from which organization we come from to make this a success, and this is something I really enjoy!

How do you spend your free time?

I love to try so many things, so it varies from time to time but it always involves sport and handy-craft. At the moment, I am into climbing, hiking, reading and planning future trips in South America. And as a Frenchie, I love spending my time around good food and wine in good company!
